I was pleasantly surprised by the delightful Sunday roast and how well the staff catered to my dietary needs. The cozy setting with real fires created an inviting atmosphere that made my stay feel special.

The corridor had a noticeable smell from the pub toilets, and I was also woken early by noise from upstairs. The kettle had no nearby socket, making it a hazardous setup next to the bed. Finding my way inside at night was stressful since the pub closed early and it took me a while to navigate a dark corridor.
